As this year comes to an end, we say GOODBYE to the 4/5 Year Old Class! :-(  Top Readers!!CONGRATS to our Top Readers. Jacob Harlin (3 years old) read 225 books this year. Rosaleen Padilla (5 years old) read 145 books this year.
Schools Out For SUMMER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We learned that butterfly wings are the same on both sides (symmetrical). The students colored their wings (coffee filters) and assembled their butterflies.
 Bug PartsWe learned that bugs have 3 body parts, 6 legs, and 2 antennae. The students got to be very creative with their bugs. They turned out SUPER cute!
Butterfly Matching GameThe 3 year olds worked on matching by colors and shapes. The 4 year olds worked on matching by letters (UPPERCASE and lowercase).
We worked on name recognition with the 3 year old class. We are still focusing on LEFT to RIGHT, just like we'll read.
Bugs in their Habitat
We used forks to make the blades of grass then our fingerprints to make the bugs.  |
