2 Weeks of SNOW...Man, have I missed you all!!
It was a hectic ONE day back for our party. Ms. Val has been sick over our extended vacation, we have been praying for her quick recovery. Ms. Tammy will also be taking some time off because of a death in the family. We will be having several different people filling in for while they're gone; Ms. Phoebe, Ms. Suzie, Ms. Hannah, and Ms. Bre. We are thankful to have many ladies to love on our preschoolers.

With our one day of school and late start, we were only able to spend about 30 mins on our boxes. I think they turned out great and the kids had so much fun.

We had all kinds of goodies to eat.

Passing out our Valentines took a while but the preschoolers did a great job!

The craft turned out good. Thank you Ashley Lovercamp (Claire's Mom) for coming up with this idea.

Thank you Alexa Slivkov (Blakely's Mom) for sending the games. Pin the Heart on the Bear and Pin the Eye on the Monster were BIG hits!

These preschoolers sure did miss each other.
They were very happy to be back together.

We made matching mittens with our buddy. Each student got to decorate their own, then we smooshed them together. We learned a big word- symmetry!

Fine Motor, Arts, and Color Mixing

Pink is a color that some students struggle with, especially the boys. We mixed colors today to make pink. Then pained a flamingo.

Friendship Week

I made our very own Friendship BINGO game. The students LOVED it!! We've played it every day this week. It's all about listening to clues and finding the right friend.
We play blackout and then EVERYONE wins!!

Ms. Val colored some pasta and the students made friendship necklaces.

Working together and problem solving is a big skill we work on in preschool.
I love to see their little minds work.

Small groups are part of our day, every day. It allows the teachers to work with a smaller group of kids and individualize the teaching to fit their needs. Look at how engaged these kids are!!
