This week always has a special place in my heart. My family and I live on a dairy farm. It's the perfect place to raise a family.
My kids live and breathe milk, cheese, tractors, cows, corn, and dirt.

We learned all about farm animals. We started by charting our favorite.
Our fine motor skills have come a long way. We cut out cows, colored a farm, and glued them in order by size. WOW, lots of work!

This Smart Board activity was interesting. The kids breezed through sorting the animals. Their reasoning was good too. Then after we counted the animals in each category, I really tried to challenge them. I would say, "Now who can tell me how to make a 10". I expected them to say a 1 and a 0 (which is what the morning kids did). The afternoon kids on the other hand REALLY used their brains. They were throwing our addition facts and comparing numbers. I am so impressed!
After reading all about cows we chose our favorite kind of milk.
