 Fine motor skills and counting practice with our buddies
More fine motor practice
 We spent a whole morning assembling our apple pie.

After learning about all of God's reactions, we made a giant poster of some of our favorites. They spent a lot of time on this, I heard some great conversations.
We are all created by God. We are all special and he knows us by name. We spent some time outside drawing ourselves.  
  What a fun first week of APPLES!! We measured ourselves with apples and chose our favorite kind. We combined math skills and fine motor skills.
What a fun fine motor, MESSY, activity.
Now the fun part...peeling apples by hand. We really had to use our muscles.
 As a class we made applesauce. We added water, cinnamon, and brown sugar. It made our classroom smell YUMMY! 
  Now for the taste test...most everyone liked the applesauce. There were several who had seconds.
