Rainbows
We discussed things that were the colors of the rainbow. I printed out black and white pictures of objects and the students had to put them in the appropriate

Fine Motor Activity! Cutting clouds, punching holes, writing names, and threading pipe cleaners! This activity took quite a long time, but it was oh so worth it.

Fun, Fun, FUN experiment!! The walking rainbow was a BIG hit in the classroom. It involved water, food coloring, cups, and paper towels. The colors soaked through the paper towels to make a rainbow. There were so many conversations started from this experiment. We learned all about mixing colors too.
| "The Rainbow Fish," is such a fun story with a great message. This little man that reads it is adorable too. After listening to our story we made our own rainbow fish. We reviewed colors, shapes, and even counted. | |
Another fun experiment involving vinegar, food coloring, baking soda, and eye droppers. I let each student get their hands dirty on this one. I put 6 piles of baking soda on their tray. Then I mixed the vinegar with the different food coloring. Each student got to drip their liquid in their pile. It was like little miniature volcanoes. The students loved to make them erupt. They loved to listen to the bubbling sounds too. We used our 5 senses on this one.
