Kindergarteners/Parents...

You've been working so hard, but I love seeing these outdoor pictures too. I sat back and thought today that God must be slowing our lives down for a reason. Take advantage of that time. As hard as it might be to sit still, use it to build memories.

I'm able to spend extra time with my own kids and enjoy not having plans or a schedule. I was able to see my 9 month old do a couple firsts this week (clap his hands and pull up/walk from one piece of furniture to the next). I am so grateful for my school families, especially during this time, but I am even more grateful for time with my own kids.

As always, I MISS YOU!!

Welcome to elearning. This is new for all of us. Don't stress.
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
I found this on Facebook and had to post. Kindergarten students are only expected to spend 40ish minutes on schoolwork a day. elearning is NOT all day. Keep in mind that these are 5 and 6 year olds, they have very short attention spans, and they need to PLAY.

Please contact me if you have questions about anything.

And know...I miss all my kids.

Most importantly, I MISS EACH AND EVERY ONE OF YOU. That is the hardest thing about this quarantine thing. Know that. Also, PARENTS, you are the real heroes. Thank you for taking the time to work with your kids and push them to do their work.
I've included a YouTube video of myself explaining what this
elearning thing will look like. Don't laugh.

Note: I did the video quickly, while in hiding, in my basement, while my kids were "napping". THIS is elearning everyone, WELCOME to this crazy time we're living in.

God is Good...ALL the time!

I'm a believer that some of the best learning happens through play. These pictures were taken during center time and book buddies. The kindergarteners love center time and so do I. I love to listen to the conversations that happen and the problem solving skills they use while playing.

The students will tell you we took a "field trip" to Waverly to get our eyes and ears checked. While we waited for our turn, we read some books.
These kids are so well behaved. They made me look really good.
