Jay's Flat Stanley went to Memphis, TN to watch K-State play in the Liberty Bowl. He even got some pictures with players and the coach. How cool!!! I was WAY more impressed than the kids.
Kolby's Flat Stanley came all the way from Hawaii. He even brought bracelets for the whole class with him.
Brody's Flat Stanley was in California. There were LOTS of pictures!
Kolby's Flat Stanley came to us from Norway! I had to explain to the kids where exactly that was in the world. That was a very hard concept for them to grasp. Great social studies lesson.
 Willow's Flat Stanley spent some time on the farm, imagine that, and New York City!
Our letter person this week led us on a hunt. We followed the dominoes on the floor to a DANCE PARTY in Mrs. Wells' classroom. We danced the Hokey Pokey, The Chicken Dance, and The Cupid's Shuffle. 
We also found donuts and dirt there.
January is Here! After reading the book, "Snowmen at Night," we wrote stories of our own.
 We began adding our last name to EVERY paper this week. Some of these kiddos have longer last names. They are doing awesome though.
This may look like an ordinary picture, but it's far from ordinary for me. As I sat down to input my attendance, students were busy at work. One asked for "Jesus Music". This is a picture of the students working and singing their Jesus Music. As I held back tears I was reminded that God knew exactly where I would be at this very moment. Last year at this time, I was unhappy with my job and stressed to the max. Wow, how things change. Trust God and his timing.  Our Christmas Party was SO much fun! Thank you Mom's and brother that came to help. The kids has a great time and are still talking about it. I didn't get many pictures because of all the excitement, but I bet I know where I can get some copies of pictures.
 I was able to attend the Christmas service in Marshall. It put me in the Christmas spirit for sure.  I hope everyone had a Merry CHRISTmas and enjoyed time with family, I know I did.  |
