Shoes, Shoes, Shoes...
1. Paint the shoes. I let them choose either red or blue (those were the colors this month)
2. Cut the shoes out.
3. Take a picture of each kiddo and print.
4. Have student glue picture, shoes, and speech bubble.
5. Talk about the color of their shoes and have them pick their color sticker.
6. TAH DAH!!
I got very brave with this next activity. I had each student take off their very own shoes (little stinky), trace their shoe, then cut it out. Yes, these are 3 year olds. Surprisingly they did GREAT! It was a great way to practice fine motor skills. After we were done we compared shoe sizes and sorted the shoes by color.
